Mirasoft Releases ForFUND/NP Accounting
Version 4.0 for Windows 95/98/ME/NT/2000, (Fund Accounting Software
Designed Specifically for Not-for-Profit Organizations).
VACAVILLE, CA – Sept 1, 2001 -- Mirasoft
announces Release 4.0 of ForFUND/NP Accounting for Windows. Along with
functionality and ease-of-use enhancements, new features focus on reducing data
entry/editing time by 50% or more.
ForFUND/NP 4.0 is scheduled for available to
both End Users and Resellers (VARs) on September 15, 2001.
A Complete Family of
Accounting Products
The ForFUND/NP Accounting product is a full suite of integrated software modules. ForFUND/NP Accounting for Windows includes: General Ledger, Budgeting, Grant/Project Management, Cash Receipts, Bank Reconciliation, Accounts Payable, Purchase Orders, Accounts Receivable, and Fixed Assets. The ForFUND/NP+ includes an integrated Payroll upgrade.
Written Specifically for
Multi-Fund Based Organizations
The ForFUND/NP Accounting system is written specifically for those that need to account for multiple fund based organizations. Multi-User and LAN ready, the ForFUND/NP and NP+ products are suitable for use by any size not-for-profit organization.
New Features Focus on Ease-of-Use, Reporting and Fast Data
Entry/Editing
The ForFUND/NP Accounting 4.0 release adds new features that:
- Enhance the user interface and on-line help system to make ForFUND/NP easier to learn and use.
- Add new edit checks to increase the quality and accuracy of data input.
- Add New ‘memorized processes’ to shorten the time it takes for users to perform common tasks throughout the ForFUND/NP system.
- Enhance standard reports and add new reports to satisfy a wider array of users’ needs. (All report enhancements in ForFUND/NP 4.0 respond to requests from existing ForFUND/NP users.)
- Make it easier for users to get to the ForFUND/NP data via new Data Export Process.
- Simplify integrating ForFUND/NP with third party software (such as Donor Tracking software, etc.).
- Ease getting started via new installation process.

Pricing & Availability
ForFUND/NP’s Suggested List Price is $2,999.95 for a single user license; ForFUND/NP+ Payroll add-on is $1,999.95 a single user license. Multi-user and Internet ASP licenses are also available.
Current users covered under Mirasoft’s MiraCARE Maintenance Agreement are entitled to a free upgrade. Current users not covered by a MiraCARE Agreement will receive a 40% upgrade discount through December 31, 2001.
ForFUND/NP and ForFUND/NP+ are both scheduled to ship September 15, 2001.
